Grade II B: Guest Lecture on Seasons

In connection with our ongoing topic ‘Seasons,’ we invited Mrs. Miruna Nathanael, parent of Mithin Nathanael (Grade II B) on February 14, 2014. She started with an interesting video on seasons and then continued with a group activity. The class was divided into four groups with four season names. Then, she did action related to the season; within no time, children followed her. She showed different types of clothes and flowers to enrich her topic. She also did a small experiment in the class with candle and football.

Children loved it and she explained the rotation and revolution of Earth; she also explained how day and night occur and the cause of season. At the end, each group was given a chart for the group activity. The entire guest lecture was a great success. We would like to thank Mrs. Miruna for the valuable time she took out of her busy schedule.
