PCMUN 2013-14 @ Einstein

On Nov 30th, Oakridge Einstein Campus was teeming with young delegates of grades VI to VII from four different campuses.  Around 120 students from Tenali, Vizag, Newton and Einstein participated in the first-ever MUN organized by Oakridge Einstein campus.  The students after the registrations were asked to be seated in the auditorium for the opening ceremony. The excitement could be felt from the time they stepped into the auditorium. For most of the students, this was their first MUN experience.

The six committees were decided keeping in mind the age group of the student delegates and the agendas of each committee, though lengthy, were finalized after considering their interests. The PCMUN offered six committees: Security Council, UNHRC, UNODC, DISEC, WHO and UNESCO. The committees addressed the most delicate global issues and the delegates found the issues really challenging.

The secretariat along with the in charge teachers worked relentlessly for over two months to put the whole event together. Meticulous planning and organization helped in the event being conducted smoothly.
