Platform for Performing Arts

PYP Performing arts fest was held at the DRS International School, Secunderabad. The Chief guest Ms. Adilakshmi, principal, Oakridge International School (Einstein campus), who was felicitated at the outset, delivered the inaugural address and emphasized the need for all round personality development of the pupils for which performing arts plays a pivotal role. Later, the principal of DRSIS spoke on the occasion and declared the event open, which was followed by a photo session.
Different international schools of the city participated in the fest which was categorized into vocal music, instrumental music, story- telling and dance events.
Students of Grade VA and IVA Oakridge International School (Einstein campus participated in the categories of story-telling and dance. Anurag, Adhithi, Vijay, Pradhyumna, Aditya, Abhi, Anshi, Siri Aarushi, Ankita, Claire, Deesha and Diya took part. Their performance was a lovely spectacle and it was a feast to the eye.
This event was an opportunity to exhibit their latent talent in the various extra-curricular activities of their interest. Participation certificates were given away to the participants.
