Chairman’s Cup takes off

When the student is ready, the master appears.  ~Buddhist Proverb

The aim to reach out to all the students through Chairman’s cup was initiated in the primary school by the 4th and 5th graders on 24th July 2013.

The topic for Grade 5 was: Can robots take the place of teachers? And for Grade 4 was: The Influence of television on budding minds- good or bad?

Students from all the three sections of both the grades presented the topic with empowered knowledge in the given time limit with pros and cons and looking at them the statement proved right that: Students   can ‘design’ solutions for the world’s greatest challenges! And prove to be leaders of tomorrow.

Day of Expressions

Expressing what is in our mind requires each of us to possess a creative self and when you begin to act on this creativity, what we find inside may be more valuable than what you produce for the external world. The ultimate creative act is to express what is most authentic and individual about us.  An attempt to execute this idea we had the ` Day of Expressions` on 26th of June during the SDP (Student Development Programme) period  where students from IV grade to XI grade participated in drawing & painting competition and  poem writing competition on the topic Nature where they were free to express themselves.
If you have anything really valuable to contribute to the world it will come through the expression of your own personality, that single spark of divinity that sets you off and makes you different from every other living creature.
As creativity pervades every human life and it is the mark of individuality and the vehicle of self-expression, the students were successful in expressing the concept through their choice of writing a poem, preparing a card and drawing pictures.
Fostering creativity within yourself and others revitalizes the ability to feel, express, and act constructively.

The Oakridge family feels proud to express that the students of Einstein campus excel themselves in fostering creativity in others and contributing the idea of expression day. Grade VIII A, Master Pranav Balaji Kashyap’s idea: Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish – has been taken into consideration and the result of the same is the expression day which every child has enjoyed.
