Sensory Experiences Can Be Messy Fun

Sticky, slippery, gooey, heavy, bumpy... that's what sensory experiences are made of. Learning and retention improve depending upon how many of our senses are engaged. Sensory activities provide children with another meaningful avenue for learning. children learn best by having "hands on" experiences with materials, sensory experiences are vital to young children's learning.

Today we did our sensory exploration activity to learn 'OUR SENSES' that was part of our UOI.

All PP 1 kids were so curious about the texture, color, how it smells it was very great learning experience for all of us .
