Literary Carnival

The Literary day was graced by the presence of renowned author, Mr. Harimohan Paruvu, who spent his precious time with students and making the Literary Day a great success. He shared the experience of his literary journey. His presence, interaction with students and PE staff and a dynamic speech was very inspiring and thought provoking.

Harimohan Paruvu is an author and ex-Ranji Trophy player. He was a member of the Hyderabad cricket team during 1985-87 which won the Ranji Trophy, a member of the Osmania University team which won the South Zone Universities Championships in 1991, and a member South Zone Universities team which won the Vizzy Trophy in 1991. He wrote 'The Men Within - A Cricketing Tale', the first novel on cricket in Indian English writing. Published by Indialog Publications, New Delhi, in 2007 it is an inspirational story with lessons on management, self-help and man management. It is now being made into a movie. Harimohan launched his second novel "If you love some one..." at the World Book Fair, New Delhi in February, 2010.
