An enacted role play on Independence

In connection with our History topic 'Independence Day' children of III B enacted a role play on the famous freedom fighters: Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Rani Laxmi Bai and Bal Gangadhar Tilak who remind us of the great sacrifices made by them to win freedom. It is the day when we became independent from the foreign rule after a long and continuous struggle for freedom.

Children used slogans like "Quit India", "Inqlab Zindabad", "Bharath Chodo", "Ban foreign clothes", "Jai Hind... Bharat Matha ki Jai" and turned the whole senario of the classroom back to the 19th century struggle.

One Response so far.

  1. Great going 3B! Proud to see the spirit of freedom in these young ones....especially in a generation where people see Gandhiji only on rupee notes!!
    Keep up the good work....
