Field trip to the railway station

In connection to our ongoing concept on “Transport”, children of PP1 and PP2 were very much excited while they set off from school at 9.o' clock on 23rd November to HI-Tech railway station. After 45 minutes journey, we arrived at Hi-Tech Railway station.

As soon as we reached, children were screaming out of joy, when they saw a goods train passing by. They were able to differentiate between a goods train and a passenger train.

The purpose of this trip was to show them a special mode of transport which move on tracks very fast and carry more passengers at a time. Children observed foot over, signal, tracks (parallel lines), wheels which are very big and heavy, the engine in the station. On the way they could see lot of road transport. It was indeed a wonderful trip.
