Story Time

The learners of PP2A are always encouraged to develop their communication skills in their mother tongue too, apart from English. They are given ‘Mother Tongue’ time and also ‘Hindi time’ & ‘Telugu time’ to converse freely in their regional and national languages. Keeping the objective to promote such skills, a parent, Ms Ruchi Chopra, was invited to interact with the children in Hindi and narrate a Hindi story on 2nd August, 2011. She had a brief circle time and then started the story named ‘Ghamandi Kauaa’. The story was extension of the thirsty crow story and children were deeply engrossed in the illustrations and narration. They also expressed their views as the story progressed as well as suggested the moral and learning from the story. The reading session thus turned out to be very fruitful.
